Wyoming Parks, Fields, and Preserves

Check out the Parks and Fields Map (PDF) to view Wyoming’s parks, fields, playgrounds, and walking/biking/hiking paths. All parks, with the exception of the lighted tennis courts and the multi-purpose field, are open from dawn until dusk.

Parks and Fields

Foster Grove Memorial Park

Located at the end of Durrell Avenue and Crescent Avenue. Two baseball/softball fields are located within the park. On the south end of the park, a basketball court can be found. A playground is located at the north end. Accessible restrooms and a picnic shelter are available at Foster Grove Memorial Park.

Camp John McLean Memorial Park

Located on the north side of Bonham Road, just west of Springfield Pike; Camp John McLean Memorial Park consists of a dedicated green space where numerous activities can take place.

Centennial Park

Located at the corner of Springfield Pike and Linden Drive. Benches are located within the park for residents to enjoy the gardens planted and maintained by the Trowel and Error Garden Club. A fountain is also located at this park.

Chisholm Park
Located on Chisholm Trail at the Cody Pass intersection, Chisholm Park is home to a spring softball field.

Crescent Park
Located on Crescent Avenue south of the Wyoming Avenue business district; Crescent Park is perfect for outside gatherings at its picnic area and soccer field. It is the home of the City's universally accessible playground structure for children of all physical abilities.

Hilltop Park/Playground

Located at the intersection of Reily Road and Oliver Road. Hilltop Park is equipped with a baseball/softball field, a basketball court, and playground facilities. A park that suits all ages!

Junior Woman’s Club Park/Tot Lot
Located off Springfield Pike near the tennis courts. This park has a fenced-in play area for toddlers, it is equipped with toddler-size equipment, and a picnic area.

North Park Field

Located on North Park Avenue. North Park is home to a baseball field and connects to the Hike/Bike Trail. Also includes a new play structure constructed in 2018.

Oak Park

Located on Oak Avenue, a block north of the Wyoming Municipal Building. Oak Park houses two lacrosse/soccer/football fields, a walking path, and a basketball court. The playground structure also consists of a rock climbing structure. Accessible restrooms and a picnic shelter are available.

Wyoming Multi-Purpose Synthetic Athletic Field

The Wyoming Multi-purpose Field is located at our Wyoming Recreation Center, 9940 Springfield Pike. This synthetic athletic field was completed in February 2011 and has been in full use since its opening. The field is lined for football, soccer, lacrosse (men’s and women’s), and baseball. It is a great asset to our community. For reservation information or other field questions, call 513-821-5200.

Wyoming Skate Park

Located at Oak Park, the 7,000 sq. ft. skate park has two “bowls” (6′ and 8′), a 4′ nipple, a small “funbox”, a two-layer ledge, a half pyramid, and rails (square and round). Helmets and pads are strongly recommended. The Skate Park closes at dusk.

Preserves

Preserves are defined as developed property placed into a Trust for the benefit and enjoyment of residents as part of the Green Areas Trust program. Thirty acres are currently in the Trust and listed as nature preserves and passive parks.

  • Ritchie Preserve is a nature preserve. It can be accessed from Sweetwater Drive or Ritchie Avenue.
  • Stearns Woods is located at the corner of Glenway and Oliver. A historical marker has been placed at the entrance to the woods at this location.

Walk-Bike-Hike

Hike/Bike Trail

The Wyoming Hike/Bike Trail now extends from Wyoming Avenue at Van Roberts Place to the Wyoming Recreation Center where it continues on into the Village of Woodlawn and into Glenwood Gardens. Check out the West Fork Mill Creek Greenway Trail Map (PDF). The Wyoming Hike/Bike Trail is part of the West Fork Mill Creek Greenway Trail, and part of a larger greenway network.
