The Most Important Class For Your Child Date/Time: Wednesday, January 28 at 6:30 p.m.

Cost: FREE The City of Wyoming is again partnering with certified dog trainer Lisa Desatnik, CPDT-KA, FFCP, FDM, CPBC, to teach young dog lovers (age 6 to 11) how to be the dog friend their dog wants them to be. Her young students will learn how dogs communicate, how to be a positive dog teacher, and how to be a safe and fun dog playmate. Certified Therapy Dog Murphy will be Lisa's helper. Here are a few lessons parents have shared about what their child learned in Lisa’s class: “cues that a dog is uncomfortable and what NOT to do with a dog”, “what different feelings look like in a dog”, and “how to read dogs”. Lisa’s next My Dog, My Best Buddy class is January 28, 2026 at 6:30 pm at our Wyoming Civic Center. It is free. Lisa offers these as community service. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Space is limited.
