TONIGHT: Wyoming Ping Pong Club

The people have spoken, and we are excited to offer table tennis in the basement of the Recreation Center this winter! Open tables will be set up each week, and we invite you to make new friends, enjoy friendly competition and build your skills. Bring your own paddle or we will have some extras on hand for you to use. We will provide the ping pong balls. Open to adults only. Location: Recreation Center Multi-Purpose Room

Happens on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. from January to April. Members can attend for free, non-members can pay $25 for a ping pong membership.

Tippi Toe Classes start January 16

We’re thrilled to announce that Tippi Toes Dance is now offering dance enrichment classes at the Wyoming Recreation Center! Our classes begin Friday, January 16th, and enrollment is officially open.

At Tippi Toes, we believe every child is magical, and our classes are designed to inspire confidence, creativity, and joy through dance. Our fun, age-appropriate classes combine ballet, tap, and jazz, giving children a strong foundation in dance while keeping every class exciting and playful.

Class Times:

5:00–5:45 PM – Ballet, Tap, Jazz Combo for 3–5 year olds
6:00–6:45 PM – Ballet, Tap, Jazz Combo for 5–8 year olds

First class is always free!

Son-Sational Dance Registration opens February 2

We are excited to announce that the Son-Sational theme is “Under the Big Top”. We will have lots of circus-themed snacks and decorations to make everyone feel like they are "Under the Big Top"!

The dances will occur on April 17 and 18.

Registration opens online on February 2 at 6 a.m. We are continuing to do ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY for our Daddy Daughter Dances. No in-person registrations will be accepted. Please note, you will only be able to register for members of your household. Each household will need to log into their own account to register for the dance.

Bootcamp with Julie on Wednesdays in 2026

Winter Break Camps

We have two days left of School's Out Camp for this winter! Camp is happening on Monday, January 19 (MLK Day) and Monday, February 16 (President's Day) from 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Have fun while school is out! Students enjoy activities all day, such as arts and crafts, movies, games, sports activities, and more. Students need to bring a bag lunch and drink. Afternoon snack will be provided.

This year we are switching things up and offering both virtual AND in-person open house options to answer all your questions before registration begins.

Kidz Home Alone: Ages 8-11

Dates/Times: Saturday, January 31 and Saturday, February 7, 9:00-11:00 a.m.

This interactive course teaches youth topics on how to be safe and smart when staying home alone. Students will learn first aid, self-Heimlich Maneuver, reasons to call 911, fire escape plans, microwave safety, and how to solve problems in out-of-the-ordinary situations. Better Babysitters Class: Ages 10 and Up

Dates/Times: Saturday, January 31 and Saturday, February 7, 12:00-4:00 p.m.

Your child will learn the skills needed to be a better babysitter. All students will receive their own first aid kit to take home. Students will learn First Aid safety, infant and child CPR with mannequins, practice care of the choking child and infant, how to handle emergencies, creative problem-solving, and more!
