TONIGHT: Wyoming Ping Pong Club

The people have spoken, and we are excited to offer table tennis in the basement of the Recreation Center this winter! Open tables will be set up each week, and we invite you to make new friends, enjoy friendly competition and build your skills. Bring your own paddle or we will have some extras on hand for you to use. We will provide the ping pong balls. Open to adults only. Location: Recreation Center Multi-Purpose Room

Happens on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. from January to April. Members can attend for free, non-members can pay $25 for a ping pong membership.

Preventative Maintenance

Date/Time: Friday, January 9 from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

The Wyoming Recreation Center will be undergoing preventative maintenance of the strength and cardio equipment in the fitness center. This is expected to begin around 8am and last a couple hours. The facility will remain open during this time, but some equipment may be temporarily unusable. Thank you for your patience.

Wyoming Wellness Fair

Date/Time: Saturday, January 10, 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Location: Wyoming Civic Center

Come out this Saturday, January 10th for our 3rd Annual Wellness Fair! The event is happening at the Civic Center from 10am-3pm. We will be hosting a variety of wellness vendors who focus on physical, mental/emotional, nutrition, and so much more!

Also, Kabobske Mobile will be at the event providing delicious Mediterranean food, so swing by for lunch and meet some amazing vendors!

Winter Break Camps

We have two days left of School's Out Camp for this winter! Camp is happening on Monday, January 19 (MLK Day) and Monday, February 16 (President's Day) from 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Have fun while school is out! Students enjoy activities all day such as arts and crafts, movies, games, sports activities, and more. Students need to bring a bag lunch and drink. Afternoon snack will be provided.

Skyhawk’s Basketball: Ages 3-7

Paint Without a Brush Class

Dates: Tuesday, January 13, January 27, and March 17

We're excited to announce that local artist, Debbie Steiner, will be hosting several Paint Without a Brush classes at the Wyoming Civic Center. Who says you need to paint with a brush? Discover new ways to create interesting designs using a napkin, bubble wrap, a sponge and more.

Local artist, Debbie Steiner, will guide you through the process step-by-step.

Anyone can do this! We'll have fun, be amazed at how simple painting can be, and produce a one-of-a-kind piece to take home.

All painting materials will be provided.

Kidz Home Alone: Ages 8-11

Dates/Times: Saturday, January 31 and Saturday, February 7, 9:00-11:00 a.m.

This interactive course teaches youth topics on how to be safe and smart when staying home alone. Students will learn first aid, self-Heimlich Maneuver, reasons to call 911, fire escape plans, microwave safety, and how to solve problems in out-of-the-ordinary situations. Better Babysitters Class: Ages 10 and Up

Dates/Times: Saturday, January 31 and Saturday, February 7, 12:00-4:00 p.m.

Your child will learn the skills needed to be a better babysitter. All students will receive their own first aid kit to take home. Students will learn First Aid safety, infant and child CPR with mannequins, practice care of the choking child and infant, how to handle emergencies, creative problem-solving, and more!
