Rumpke Holiday Update:

Christmas Day one day delay (Thursday people will be picked up on Friday, December 26th).

New Year’s one day delay (Thursday people will be picked up on Friday, January 2nd).

Yard Waste Sticker Update

The City’s five-year contract with Rumpke will expire at the end of the year. A new five-year contract has been awarded to Rumpke for garbage, yard waste, and recycling services. Rumpke was the only bidder for these services.

Effective January 1, 2026 yard waste stickers will increase from $2.50 to $3.25 per sticker. The cost increase by Rumpke is due to higher fuel, labor, and equipment expenses.

Stickers that have already been purchased will be honored in 2026.

Christmas Tree Pickup

Dates: December 29-January 12

Christmas trees will be picked up curbside for recycling by the Public Works Department from December 29 until January 12.

A tree blocked by a vehicle may be missed. Please note, in the event of snow or a water main break, snow removal and water main repair will take priority over Christmas tree removal. The City will resume picking up Christmas trees once emergency repairs and snow removal have been completed.

For questions, contact Rob Nicolls, Public Works Director at 513-821-3505 or rnicolls@wyomingohio.gov.

Don’t Miss Out on Winter Yard Waste Pickup!

Rumpke will collect yard waste over the winter, but you MUST call ahead to ensure your yard waste is picked up.

For the Monday pickup, you need to call Rumpke by Friday at 1-800-828-8171. Only homes that call will have their yard waste collected!

Remember: Stickers are required, and all rules and regulations for curbside yard waste still apply.

Automatic yard waste pickup resumes on Monday, March 2, 2026.
