Rumpke Holiday Update:

Christmas Day one-day delay (Thursday people will be picked up on Friday, December 26th).

New Year's one-day delay (Thursday people will be picked up on Friday, January 2nd).

Don’t Miss Out on Winter Yard Waste Pickup!

Rumpke will collect yard waste over the winter, but you MUST call ahead to ensure your yard waste is picked up.

For the Monday pickup, you need8 to call Rumpke by Friday at 1-800-828-8171. Only homes that call will have their yard waste collected!

Remember: Stickers are required, and all rules and regulations for curbside yard waste still apply.

Automatic yard waste pickup resumes on Monday, March 2, 2026.

Letters to Santa at the Recreation Center

Now-December 21

The Wyoming Recreation Center is so excited to be able to offer Santa's

Mailbox at the Recreation Center. Santa's Mailbox will be at the Recreation Center from December 1-December 21.

Kids can drop off their letters to Santa at our Recreation Center! His North Pole team will collect them and ensure they reach him.

Don’t forget to include a name and address for Santa’s reply, along with an unaffixed postage stamp.

Position: Seasonal Summer Camp Coordinator

The Wyoming Recreation Department is seeking an energetic, outgoing individual to serve as the seasonal Summer Camp Coordinator for the 2026 Summer Camp season. The Summer Camp Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and supervision of camp activities, camp staff, and campers to ensure a safe, engaging, and enriching camp experience. This role involves planning, programming, managing staff schedules, handling camper needs, and ensuring that camp operations align with the organization’s mission and safety standards. The Summer Camp Coordinator is responsible for the direct supervision of Summer Camp Counselors and day-to-day operations of summer camp. Duties are performed under the direction of the Recreation Director. This position serves as an integral part of the Summer Camp Leadership Team.
