The City of Wyoming is proud to announce that we have new newsletter software. This software gives us the ability to add images and graphics to our newsletters. We believe this will enhance the experience for our residents and anyone who receives our newsletters!

Holiday Closings

The Wyoming City Building will be closed Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28.

We will resume normal operating hours on Monday, December 1. 

The Wyoming Recreation Center will be closed Thursday, November 27. We will resume normal operating hours on Friday, November 28.

No newsletter will be sent out the week of 11/23-11/29.

Wyoming Firefighters Association Turkey Raffle

Dates/Times: Friday, November 21 and Saturday, November 22, Doors Open at 6:00 p.m. 

Join us November 21 and 22 for the Wyoming Fire Association’s annual Turkey Raffle fundraiser! Doors open at 6:00 each night for food, drinks, silent auction and more. We’ll start spinning the wheel at 7:00 for your chance to win a fresh turkey delivered to your house the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.

Hilltop School Groundbreaking Event

Wyoming School Foundation Bartender For A Cause @ Delmonico's

Bartender for a Cause brings our community together for a fun night out—while giving back to the Wyoming School Foundation. Stroll along Wyoming Avenue and Village Green to meet Santa, enjoy a live reindeer display, get some holiday shopping done, listen to festive music, savor delicious food, and witness the inaugural tree lighting ceremony! Kindervelt #8 Annual Christmas Tree Sale

Dates/Times: Saturday, December 6, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. & Sunday, December 7, 12:00-4:00 p.m 

Location: Wyoming High School Tennis Courts (located on Springfield Pike near Fleming Road) 

Kindervelt #8 will hold their annual Christmas Tree Sale at the Wyoming High School Tennis Courts on Saturday, December 6, and Sunday, December 7. Proceeds benefit the Leukemia Center at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. We will have an assortment of Frazier Firs, Balsam Firs, and Douglas Firs in a variety of sizes, as well as wreaths, roping, centerpieces, and more! Come early for the best selection! Daddy Daughter Registration Opens December 1 

We are excited to announce that the 18th Annual Daddy Daughter Dance theme is “Under the Big Top”. We will have lots of circus-themed snacks and decorations to make everyone feel like they are "Under the Big Top"!  

The dances will occur on January 23, 24, and 25. 

Registration opens online on December 1st at 6 a.m. We are continuing to do ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY for our Daddy Daughter Dances. No in-person registrations will be accepted. Please note, you will only be able to register for members of your household. Each household will need to log into their own account to register for the dance.

JWC Light Up Wyoming Luminary Kit In-person Sales Events 

The Joint Women's Collaborative of Wyoming (JWC) will be hosting several in-person sales events for Light Up Wyoming luminaries. If your order is placed online after November 7, luminaries must be picked up during one of these events. Luminaries can also be purchased without preordering online. 

In-person luminary kit sales will be held on the following dates: 

  • December 3: 3-6 pm (Wyoming Civic Center) 
  • December 6: 10 am - 4 pm (Wyoming Civic Center) 

For in-person ordering, you can pay with cash, check, credit card, or online. If you pay online, please bring your receipt. 

Visit jwcwyoming.org (Light Up Wyoming tab) to order online in advance. While you’re ordering, don’t forget to check out the Santa raffle! Tickets will be sold through November 30. For every $10 ticket you purchase, your name will be entered into the raffle 3 times.  

All proceeds allow the JWC of Wyoming to continue to give back to deserving local organizations. In 2024, Light Up Wyoming raised nearly $11,300, allowing the JWC of Wyoming to fund bike helmets for the Down Syndrome Associations’ bike camp, backpacks for Valley Interfaith Community Resource Center, the Imagination Station at the Wyoming Art Show, and the Wyoming High School Model UN program. 

Spring Valley Bank Holiday Food Drive Benefiting Valley Interfaith Community Resource Center

Dates: Now through December 22, 2025 

Help spread love & kindness this holiday season by dropping off your food donations for Valley Interfaith Community Resource Center to the Spring Valley Bank lobby now through December 22nd to make a difference in the lives of those in our community. Suggested donations: canned meat (chicken or tuna), peanut butter, canned fruit, canned beans, pasta & sauces, instant mashed potatoes or any non-perishable items. 

Green Living by Design Events:

Live Music Saturday 11/22/25 from 6-9pm 
Family Friendly Free Event: Live music with the Paul Otten Band on the heated patio from 6pm-9pm. There will be dinner specials available all under $12/person, craft beer or cider $4.25, wine by the glass $9, or estazzi $7. We also offer lots of non-alcoholic beverages. We have pints of Madisanos sorbet and gelato available for dessert along with our fresh baked café items. All are welcome, and there is plenty of off-street parking. 

Glass Garden Club Mistletoe Workshop
Date/Time: Sunday, November 30, 12:00-2:00 p.m.
Cost: $45/person 

The glass garden club will be hosting a workshop on the heated patio on 11/30/25 from 12pm-2pm. All participants will be making their own stained-glass mistletoe ornament to take home. All materials, tools, and instruction provided. All participants received 10% off their market purchases that day too. Alcohol + food excluded.

Holiday Market + Open House: Shop lots of local artists + makers with unique and one of a kind gift items available. Families have been loving Anne’s music classes, and this FREE session is your chance to try it out before committing. You and your child (ages 0-5) can jump, sing, dance, and explore music together while meeting other families. How To Be A Safe And Fun Dog Friend: A FREE Kid’s Class

Have a child (age 6 or above) and a dog – or will you be getting a dog for the holidays? Join Wyoming alumni Lisa Desatnik, CPDT-KA, FFCP, FDM, CPBC, a certified dog trainer with So Much PETential for an in-person beginner class for kids. The 75-minute class could be the most important investment in your child’s relationship with your dog.  

At My Dog, My Best Buddy, Lisa will teach kids (and their parents) how to be someone their dog will want to listen to and be with. Participants will learn how dogs communicate, how to be a positive dog teacher, and how to be a safe and fun dog playmate. Certified Therapy Dog Murphy will be Lisa's helper.  

The class is on Wednesday, Dec 3 at 6:30 pm at the Wyoming Civic Center. Pre-registration is required…and space is limited.
