LEGAL NOTICE
Sealed proposals will be received at the City of Wyoming Municipal Building, 800 Oak Avenue, Wyoming, Ohio 45215, until November 13, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. local time, for the 2023-24 Sidewalk Reconstruction/ Replacement Project in the City of Wyoming, Ohio, and then at said office, publicly opened and read aloud.
Copies of the specifications and contract documents may be obtained at the City of Wyoming Municipal Building, 800 Oak Avenue, Wyoming, Ohio 45215, or via email by contacting Megan Statt Blake, Community Development Director at mstattblake@wyomingohio.gov.
Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside with the name of the bidder, its address, the name of the project for which the bid is submitted (2023-24 Sidewalk Reconstruction/ Replacement Project), and be addressed to the City Manager. Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the same and all persons interested therein,
The successful bidder will be bound by contract, to pay the prevailing rates of wage as currently determined by the Ohio State Department of Industrial Relations, and to meet all other requirements of law relating to contracts for public works.
Each bidder is required to submit with the proposal a bid bond, cashier’s check, certified check, or letter of credit equal in amount to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Surety Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount.
The City of Wyoming reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals; to accept or reject any part of any or all proposals; to waive any irregularities in the bidding; and to enter into a contract with the bidder, who, in its sole consideration, offered the lowest and best proposal.

A request to construct a fence within the limits of the front yard at 416 Oliver Road, Wyoming, OH 45215 was denied as the proposal violates Section 1183.09(a)(4) of the City of Wyoming Codified Ordinances, which regulates fences in the ‘AA’ Single Family Residence District.
346 Compton Hills Drive. Case #15-23
A request to construct a driveway within the limits of the front yard at 346 Compton Hills Drive, Wyoming, OH 45215 was denied as the proposal violates Section 1151.06(d) of the City of Wyoming Codified Ordinances, which regulates driveway width in the ‘AAA’ Single Family Residence District.

INVITATION FOR BID
Sealed bids shall be addressed to and will be received by the City of Wyoming located at 800 Oak Avenue, Wyoming, Ohio 45215 until November 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. for:
OLIVER ROAD IMPROVEMENTS
Plans & Specifications for the work may be obtained at the office of JMA Consultants, 4357 Harrison Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. Cost for the bid package will be $100 non-refundable.
Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 through 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security, furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio in the full amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount. A 100% satisfactory performance and payment bond shall be required of the successful bidder.

All bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Hamilton County and the City of Wyoming as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage & Hour Administration.
The City of Wyoming reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept or reject any part thereof.
