Wyoming Police Department

Police Chief Gary Baldauf, 16 full-time police officers, and 3 police clerks supply the City of Wyoming with around the clock service and protection.  By instilling the core values set forth by the Wyoming Police Department, the WPD is proud to say that Wyoming is one of the safest cities in the Cincinnati area.   The mission of the Wyoming Police Department, in partnership with the community, is to protect life and property, maintain order, and promote a safe environment through problem solving, education, impartial application of the law, and the promotion of trust and mutual respect within our community.

Within recent years, the WPD has appointed two Community Resource Officers to assist in making the community safe and to work with the community to improve the quality of life.  In addition to the police officers and police clerks, the Wyoming Police Department staffs eight crossing guards who have specialized training and are equipped with a cell phone in case of an emergency.
